Established in 1984 the Australian Macedonian Human Rights Committee (AMHRC) is a non-governmental organisation that informs and advocates before international institutions, governments and broader communities about combating racism and promoting human rights. Our aspiration is to ensure that Macedonian communities and other excluded groups throughout the world, are recognised, respected and afforded equitable treatment.

The MHR Review is the official magazine of both the Australian Macedonian Human Rights Committee (AMHRC) and Macedonian Human Rights Movement International (MHRMI). The magazine began as the AMHRC Review in 2009. In 2012 the title was changed to MHR Review to reflect that it is now issued jointly by the AMHRC and MHRMI. Each issue contains previously released media statements as well as original pieces on Macedonian human rights issues and other related topics. It is published four times a year, a month after the end of each season. The approximate annual release dates of the MHR Review are: March 31 June 31 September 30 December 31 The MHR Review is available free online and a full colour hard copy is mailed out to all members of the AMHRC and MHRMI.
